PRESS RELEASE: PALINET, Amigos, and SOLINET unite in promoting
ScholarlyStats to their Combined Membership

7th September 2006
London (UK), Philadelphia, PA (USA)

Forging new territory, Amigos, PALINET, and SOLINET have signed an agreement with MPS Technologies to offer ScholarlyStats to their combined membership.

Representing a bold cost- and time-saving move by three of the largest library consortia in the United States, this agreement allows subscribing members to receive maximum discounts on ScholarlyStats, a provider of consolidated usage statistics.

"We've already seen a large amount of interest in ScholarlyStats from libraries that are pushing forward to make better use of their vendor usage statistics," said Chris Martire, PALINET Director for Strategic Partnerships. "Following our partnership with Amigos and SOLINET, PALINET members will realize even greater benefits over the long term."

Jayne Marks, CEO of MPS Technologies said, "SOLINET, Amigos and PALINET represent nearly two-thirds of libraries in the United States. We are thrilled to be working together to provide easier access to each membership, and to coordinate marketing activities for enhanced visibility and promotion of ScholarlyStats among the consortia."
