Blackwell Journal Selected by ISI as Most Improved

According to ISI analysis, the American Journal of Transplantation 
achieved highest percent increase in total citations for the second 
bimonthly period of 2005

Boston, Massachusetts - November 29, 2005-Blackwell Publishing announced 
today that a recent analysis of the ISI Essential Science Indicators Web 
Product selected the American Journal of Transplantation (AJT), published 
on behalf of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and the American 
Society of Transplantation, as a leading recent arrival among medical 
journals.  According to ISI, "AJT has achieved the highest percent 
increase in total citations in the field of Clinical Medicine for the 
second bimonthly period of 2005." The journal currently has an impact 
factor of 5.306 and is ranked number one in transplantation journals and 
number two of surgery journals worldwide.
