SAGE Journals Online Is Now Available

Thousand Oaks, California, and London, United Kingdom (September 1,
2004) - SAGE Journals Online is now available. This powerful new
journal delivery platform, developed by Stanford University's HighWire
Press, boasts one of the largest collections of prestigious and highly
cited journals in the social sciences, including major society journals,
as well as an extensive STM list.

The new platform dramatically enhances the functionality of SAGE
journals. SAGE Journals Online provides users with new features,
including flexible searching and browsing capabilities, customizable
alerting services, and advanced toll-free inter-journal reference
linking.

Richard Newman, Associate Director of HighWire Press comments, "We are
honored that SAGE has chosen HighWire to host their electronic
journals."

Blaise Simqu, President and CEO of SAGE Publications, states, "We
believe that combining HighWire's state-of-the-art technology and SAGE's
premier content, we have created the most robust social science research
environment in academia."

Free access to SAGE Journals Online is available from September 1
through October 31, 2004. Visit http://online.sagepub.com to explore the
quality content and enhanced features today.

Also available from SAGE Publications are the SAGE Full-Text
Collections. While SAGE Journals Online is an e-delivery platform that
allows subscribing institutions to access individual SAGE journal
titles, the SAGE Full-Text Collections are full-text research databases
in specific disciplines that include up to 22 years of backfiles. They
are enhanced by linking to and from popular Cambridge Scientific
Abstracts (CSA) abstracting databases on the IDS platform. The SAGE
Full-Text Collections are sold through CSA. For more information, visit
