Elsevier appoints Tony McSean Director of Library Relations

Elsevier is pleased to announce that Tony McSean will become the new
Director of Library Relations and will report to the marketing director in
the Science & Technology Division.  Mr.McSean comes to Elsevier from the
British Medical Association where he was the chief Librarian for the past
15 years.  Previously he was head of marketing and support for the British
Library's national bibliographic service, worked in the university
libraries of Limerick, Ulster and Southampton and spent three years with
Geac Computers..  Tony earned his BA(with honors) at the University
College of Wales and also took his Library Diploma there.  Tony has been
on the Board of the European Association for Health Information and
Libraries since 1991, serving twice as president.  He has also served on
the Council of the Library Association and its succesor Cilip since 1996.  
Tony McSean will begin his new position at Elsevier in August.
