Western Journal of Medicine archived content has disappeared

The Western Journal of Medicine ceased with vol. 176 no. 4 (Sept. 2002).
It was last published by the BMJ Publishing Group and was hosted by
HighWire Press. I have been unable to find online content (except in
Galenet--InfoTrac), and it is no longer listed on HighWire.

The WJM was a relatively important medical title. These are some notes
from the OCLC record:

Published: San Francisco : California Medical Association, 1974-199./
Official journal of the California Medical Association and other similar
organizations.

General Info: Vols. for -Oct. 1987 include monthly insert: Bulletin (Utah
State Medical Association); Nov. 1987- Bulletin (Utah Medical
Association)./ Absorbed: Arizona medicine, 1985; continued in part by:
Arizona medicine (Phoenix, Ariz. : 1990). : Bulletin (Utah State Medical
Association)/ 0888-3661

The missing online content certainly brings up the issue of archiving of
online content and what policies and procedures publishers and providers
have in place for providing archival access to ceased titles (particularly
considering the fact that this title was from HighWire Press and the BMJ
Publishing Group).

If anyone has information as to the status of access to the archival
content, please forward that info.

Thank you.
