SwetsWise Publisher Signings Top 30 in 2003

Swets Blackwell announced today that it has succeeded in signing an
additional 7 publishers to SwetsWise online content. This brings the grand
total of new publishers signed in 2003 to 31. SwetsWise is the web-based,
modular service for the procurement, access and management of
subscriptions and online information. SwetsWise now carries a total of
7,698 full text e-journals from 280 publishers, with more than 90% of the
top STM publishers participating.

Institution of Electrical Engineers

Founded in 1871, the IEE (www.iee.org <http://www.iee.org>) is the largest
professional engineering society in Europe and has a worldwide membership
of nearly 130,000. The IEE publishes a wide range of print and electronic
publications (books, journals, magazines, conference proceedings) in many
areas of electrical and electronic engineering, including
telecommunications, computing, power, control, radar, circuits, materials
and more. The IEE Research Journals are refereed publications reporting
research and technical developments. IEE's 15 research journals are now
available via SwetsWise online content.

The Chemical Society of Ethiopia

The Chemical Society of Ethiopia was founded in 1983. The Society develops
and promotes national chemistry education, research and international
cooperation. Launched in 1987, the Bulletin of the Chemical Society of
Ethiopia (www.inasp.info/ajol <http://www.inasp.info/ajol> and
www.ingenta.com <http://www.ingenta.com>) is a peer-reviewed biannual
journal. The journal publishes contributions in any field of basic and
applied chemistry. The journal has a distinguished Editorial Board and

E. Schweizerbart Science Publishers

Since its establishment in 1826, Schweizerbart

the natural sciences (emphasis on earth science, botany, anthropology,
aquatic biology, limnology, zoology) with a strong presence worldwide.

Makerere Medical School

The journal African Health Sciences was launched in the summer of 2001, as
a means to publish high quality medical research from Uganda and other
African countries. The journal covers medical issues of relevance to the
African continent and other tropical and subtropical areas worldwide. The
quality of the journal was endorsed by acceptance on Medline earlier this
year. African Health Sciences is now available via SwetsWise.

The Oldenbourg Group

The scientific publisher Oldenbourg Wissenschaftsverlag is part of the
Oldenbourg Group, which was founded in 1858. The renowned program includes
a wide range of professional books and journals in the Humanities,
Mathematics and Statistics, Computing, Natural Sciences and Engineering.
Oldenbourg offers approximately 4,000 active titles and around 30
