Oxford University Press announces launch of Journal of Financial
Econometrics

Oxford University Press is pleased to announce the launch of the new
Journal of Financial Econometrics (JFEC), edited by Ren� Garcia and Eric
Renault of the Universit� de Montr�al.  Three issues will be published in
2003.

Financial econometrics is one of the most active areas of research in
econometrics, and JFEC is dedicated to this fast-growing field. JFEC's
aims are to address substantive statistical issues raised by the
tremendous growth of the financial industry, and to advance the
relationship between econometrics and finance at the methodological and
empirical levels. JFEC also features a Practitioners' Corner section that
emphasizes the practical side of the contents of each issue and places the
articles within a broader perspective. Book reviews will occasionally be
published.

This journal was to be published by Kluwer. Now published by Oxford
University Press. Please resend any orders to OUP.
