The following letter was mailed this week to all LWWOnline site licenses
customers.

NEWS ABOUT YOUR ELECTRONIC SUBSCRIPTIONS FROM LIPPINCOTT WILLIAMS &
WILKINS

Dear Customer,

As you may know, electronic journals from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins
(LWW) will be available to institutional customers solely through Ovid
beginning with the 2003 subscription year. We're making this change
because together, as sister companies within Wolters Kluwer International
Health & Science, Ovid and LWW can offer you an expanded range of research
capabilities.

Your LWW print subscriptions will be unaffected. If you use the services
of a subscription agent, they will continue to handle your print orders
with LWW and they will pass along electronic orders to Ovid.

HOW YOU BENEFIT FROM THIS NEW ACCESS ARRANGEMENT

Ovid recognizes that every customer has different research needs. To meet
those needs, Ovid works to combine content, search tools and service to
develop a unique solution that's just right for every customer. Here are
some of the advantages that Ovid offers its customers:

- Access to the aggregated content of the 60 top publishers worldwide.
-100% searchability with more targeted results
-Extensive backfiles - predating LWWOnline.
-Linking both within Journals@Ovid from references, plus to and from
 important citation databases.
-CrossRef linking.
-Integration with local systems such as OPAC's document ordering.
-Integration and delivery to point of care through medical records systems
and other hospital information systems and complimentary clinical tools.
-Local customization options including authentication, local messaging,
 auto alerts, multiple search modes.

We look forward to providing you with this expanded range of capabilities.
An Ovid representative will be contacting your shortly to migrate your
