There's more than negotiating the price when it comes to licenses for
electronic material.

o Do the conditions of access and use in the license correspond to your
  needs?
o What happens to your license agreement if the publisher is taken over by
  another company?
o What is your liability if the conditions of use are abused by a library
  user?
o In the case of a dispute with the publisher, in which country do you go
  to court?

This one-day workshop will guide you through the issues and will provide
strategies on how  to negotiate.

The tutor is Emanuella Giavarra, an experienced European copyright and
contract lawyer, who specialises in licenses for electronic material.
