New Version of Blackwell Synergy launches

We are delighted to announce the launch of a new version of Blackwell
Publishing's online journals service, Blackwell Synergy:

The site has a fresh new design and improved navigation so that readers
can better locate journals in their subject area and link between related
articles. For example, the expandable subject tree allows intuitive
browsing across journals and the QuickLink feature enables readers to get
straight to an issue or an article.

Blackwell Synergy now holds 369 of Blackwell Publishing's leading science,
medicine, technology, psychology, economics and statistics journals.
During the rest of this year, a further 250 humanities and social science
journals will be added to the service.

For an initial period, all content was available free to all users to
enable customers to fully explore the site and the new features. We have
now switched the access control back on. This means that users will
continue to have access to the full-text articles from subscribed to
journals. In addition, users can search and browse through tables of
contents and abstracts from non-subscribed journals, and register for free
to access sample issues and e-mail table of contents alerts.

There are many changes on the site but we have taken care to preserve the
structure of any links to content. There is no need to change any links
you have made to any Blackwell Synergy pages.

If you need any help when accessing your subscriptions, please let us know
immediately at synergyhelp@blacksci.co.uk.

If you have any other comments or questions about the new Blackwell
Synergy website, or would like to receive our monthly Newsletter, then you
can contact me directly on emily.gillingham@blacksci.co.uk.

Best wishes,
