Dear Ann,

Bob Sewell at Rutgers had asked that I respond to the question about bar
codes since my dept. would deal with the issue. I tried responding to the
list but was rejected because I don't subscribe. Therefore I am sending
you the response, hopefully you can post it. Please let me know if there
is a problem. Thank you in advance.

It is:

-In response to the question of using bar codes that are on the back of
Sage publications, Rutgers does not use any bar codes for check-in. We
have not designed our check-in process to uitilize that form or any
numeric form of ID.-
