RE: Alumni Access

My apologies if this has already been mentioned: one problem the vendors
might have is this: What are these alumni doing with this information? Many
of them work for for profit business and may use the results for their own
research. Access for alumni is full of pitfalls, in my opinion.

Bonnie

Currently we do not offer up access to Alumni. We have been asked to do so.
I am trying to gather information on others' experiences with this issue. I
am not sure how we'll deal with any of these issues. But, if (or I should
say, When) we do, I'll let you know.

You've asked an interesting question, but I find the funding issue even
more interesting. May I add two questions? How do you pay the additional
fees, if any? Do any Libraries get a portion of alumni dues? Bonnie
