RE: electronic journals CCC

When you purchase a print copy, do you pay CCC for document delivery of
its contents? No, because you have the right of fair use according to
copyright law. Theoretically, it should work the same way for e-journals
that you "purchase," i.e. to which you subscribe, but the legal rights of
fair use in a digital world is currently a slippery slope that will
probably be determined through the courts. Has anyone heard of any court
cases related to this question (not including the Tasini case, which is
slightly different)?

Subject: electronic journals CCC

A question has come up concerning the use of electronic journals. The
question: does the use of electronic journals for document delivery and/or
literature searching mean the library has to pay more to CCC?
