Immediate opening for Deputy Manager, Electronic Information Resources.
The deputy manager assists the Information & Communication Services
Manager with the identification, selection, development, and
implementation of opportunities for consortial purchase of electronic
resources for libraries, as well as handles inquiries, orders, billing,
renewals, and support for all electronic information resources. In
addition, the deputy manager is responsible for managing PALINET's
Pittsburgh office in consultation with the Executive Director.

PALINET is a multitype library network dedicated to the support of
resource sharing and technology initiatives among 600 member libraries in
DE, MD, NJ, PA, and WV. For more information about PALINET, visit

Qualifications: Masters degree in library and/or information science from
an ALA- accredited program or equivalent; operational familiarity and
minimum of four years' professional work experience with two or more
electronic information resources; working knowledge of reference and
public services operations, and acquisitions; excellent organizational and
analytical skills; understanding of business mathematics. Written and oral
communication skills a must. Position will require some travel and is
based in PALINET's Pittsburgh office.

Salary: Dependent upon qualifications, minimum $42,600. Excellent
